After our big hike yesterday, we decided to take it easy today so we did a relatively short via ferrata up a beautiful gorge.
But before the day got rolling, we headed into town to pick up some yogurt, fruit and of course, hit a bakery.

After breakfast, we headed out to do a via ferrata that was only a short drive from our place. We had planned to do some other via ferratas that were longer and much higher in elevation, but they were still closed because of snow covering the via ferrata cables. The one we did followed a stream through a beautiful gorge. It was playful and the perfect level of challenge. The water crossings (6?) were my favorite part.

The rest of the day was very un-Kara-and-Dan-like. We both took a slamming nap at our apartment followed up by a fancy pants dinner.
For dinner, we decided to milk our 25th wedding anniversary (not until Sept) by going to a Michelin Star restaurant in Kranjska Gora. Instead of the tasting menu, we just ordered a la carte. It was delicious, but we actually liked the restaurant in Stara Fuzina a little better.

A very sweet trifecta of a day: some exercise with adrenaline in a beautiful setting, some top notch relaxing and some very happy taste buds and tummies ❤️
